Player Stories

Absolutely loved it. For me it was all about seeing St George’s Park and using the amazing facilities. The way the day was planned was superb, ran really well and overall it was top class. Definitely interested in doing it again next year!

Football Aid 2018

The 2018 England Training Day at St George's Park was a hugely enjoyable event for all involved and we'd like to say a massive thanks again to all our players for their excellent efforts on the day.

History & Background

The England Training Day offers fans a unique opportunity to experience what it's like to be an England International for a day! Allowing unrivalled access to the FA's state of the art training facilities at St. George's Park, regarded as one of the world’s finest football training centres. Our players are put through their paces by FA Coaches in the morning, experience a behind the scenes tour, enjoy a healthy lunch and then pull on their England kits and take part in a 90 min 11-aside game on one of St. George's top quality outdoor grass pitches.

Our 1st ever England Training Day in April 2017 proved to be a huge success with all the players involved and we were thrilled to make a return to St. George's Park for our 2nd event in April 2018.

Football Aid could certainly be described as a game of two halves. On one side we’re fulfilling fans’ lifelong ambitions to grace the hallowed turf at the club they support. At the same time, we’ve raised significant funds for a host of charity and community projects on a regional, national and international scale. This perfect balance is changing lives, making dreams come true and benefiting the beautiful game.
